Old and not working like a new filter should
I just now opened one of four Brita replacement filters I purchased... I am not happy at all with what I found.... black carbon or whatever is in these was all over the place.. I am sure these are very very old and have been stored somewhere that was either very hot or very humid.... anyway I do not recommend buying these anywhere other than a local store or Brita... these are a rip off..
I soaked the filter for a long time in a large container... the black stuff kept coming out in the water... I have never had this happen and I have replaced many filters .

Good for people with arthritis... I recommend these to everyone
I have arthritis and they feel good using them
