Excellent little lens, great value for its money
1 of 1 found this helpful IT's sharp, it's got almost no chromatic aberration at all and its Macro function is impressive. The dial helps you get quickly from standard to Macro (since manually turning the focus ring will take some time to get there).
As a normal lens, it's not the fastest out there (f/2.8) but provides an excellent performance for the MFT format and I highly recommend it.

It works... most of the time
It does what it says in the tin: records video.
The problem is that it records in a relatively low quality, plus the audio is almost inaudible. I'm OK with these, but my issue here is that some times, the PC doesn't see the device when connected to it.
Note, after buying the more expensive and functional lighter, I think that this seems like the better choice.
OBSOLETE:
I wouldn't buy it again, rather I'd prefer to buy the much costlier alternative which is also a functional lighter.

Excellent portrait lens, great value for its money
I am very pleased with this lens. I thought after owning the 60mm f/2.8 Macro and the 25mm f/1.8 that this would be rather redundant, but the 45mm fills a nice void that I simply can't get easily with the other two lenses. Impressive is an understatement.
Minimum colour fringing and very sharp.
