Does not fit 1999 Dodge Ram 1500
The arms that hook onto the tailgate latch rods need to be about one inch apart when pulling the lever to open the tailgate; these arms are about three inches apart, therefore they will not pull the latchs to open the tailgate.
The tailgate latch does bolt in, but the latch handle is way too small to cover the hole like the OEM tailgate latch does. I have no problem with the quality except it is not made for this application. :o(

It's what I wanted, works great and at the right price! :)
These lids are actually tighter than the original ones and seal much better.
