Just what the doctor ordered
I know I didn't spend much but it was worth restoring my computer back to new condition. It was a perfect replacement!

Doubled my RAM in 2 minutes
I got the right stuff and it works great - popped out the old modules, popped in the new - hooray! My 6 year old computer has a new lease on life!

Exactly as described - what the "dr." ordered
Make no mistake about it - the procedure to replace this board is not for those who aren't mechanically-minded, and is daunting even to those of us who have the abilities! But mine had a broken headphone jack and the better fix was to replace the board rather than try to repair it. Because of the problem, I had lost all sound to my internal computer speakers as well, and I wasn't happy about it! But after replacing the board, which I was so happy to find on eBay for a lot less than I expected, my computer is back to singing joyfully again!
