Works, but has some quality issues.
You need this for water bath canning and it works well. The only reason I'm just giving it 4 stars is that it's rather thin and cheap. I have put no dings in it, yet parts of the bottom are beginning to rust. Also the rack does not hold the jars up well, as they easily fall over in the water. All in all, it's useable, but not the best quality. Don't expect this one to last for years and years like some of the old ones did.

Such a great book to read to children and this copy was in almost perfect condition.
