Perfect fit, perfect price, great quality, great value, if you need these, don't be afraid to buy them.
Bought this product thinking I needed it. Later found out, it was the wrong part. Even later, found out they really were needed. Great deal and is holding up perfectly. These work like they should, and are of good quality. Price was right and if you find you need them, don't be afraid to buy them because of the low price.

The BEST for getting pecan halves perfectly
I have my aunt's old one and used it a couple of times. Since it is ancient I don't use it anymore but wanted one that I could use. This pecan cracker is perfect for shelling hard shell and soft shell pecans. One good "whack" and soft shells are cracked so that you can get perfect halves. One good whack and a half whack and hard shells are perfectly cracked so that you can get your halves out perfectly. While I did have a couple, maybe 1 out of 10 that the tip broke off of the top of the pecan, I cannot blame the cracker. Shelling is fast and if you set up a "production line" and crack a bunch of pecans then pick off the shells, I found it was faster and gave my hands a bit of a rest from pulling back on the hammer. I searched everywhere around town and even some places out of town and couldn't find this cracker. I wouldn't buy anything else for pecans. It will crack walnuts and other nuts, but the walnuts will NOT fit under the guard and I couldn't get perfect halves out of them because the shells were too brittle.
