New life for my old presto

The ring and pressure valve were a perfect replacement for my very old and leaky PS6. A quick cleanup and change and the cooker is good as new.

Excellent replacement battery

The battery is very good but taking out the defective item in the S7 Edge is quite another matter. Youtube videos are good tutorials and your experience is going to vary.

A new life for my old HDX16 laptop

I just love this laptop so I decided to give it a new lease of life by installing the T9900, replacing the HDD with an SSD and swapping out my plain keyboard with a backlit. The Intel Processor Diagnostics gives it a clean bill of health everytime I checked in the last couple of weeks that I have had it. I have the Duo Core at 3.1Ghz running at high performance setting and temping at 110 F, handles everything I have thrown at it. After upgrading to win 10 pro none of the quick response buttons work but I can live with that. Installing the cpu in the socket is easy but getting to it required pretty much dismantling the entire base and is not for the faint of heart. But now I have a system that will hold me for another five years. Thanks to ebay and spare parts sellers in the marketplace.
