2006 Harley-Davidson VRSC-r
4 of 5 found this helpful I love it because its cool. Its a "simple" bike with tons of power, great brakes, good handling, ease of maintenance. HD doesn't always "get" ergonometrics, so I am changing the bars for comfort. Had an early model with forward controls:keep that crap for HD's poseur bikes. There is a great online site full of good people with lots of VROD expeience,www.1130cc.com.With this and my custom Valkyrie, this solo rider has all the bikes he needs! Oh, yeah, why did I buy it? For me, the perfect SUV!
1 of 1 found this helpful As a retired car dealer I have owned many vehicles. I prefer an "fuel efficient sports car" over an SUV but I need the practical toting capacity. I sold my Acura MDX because of historically unreliable transmissions although otherwise it was outstanding. The Highlander Hybrid is not plagued with any major areas of unreliability plus it gets 24 mpg in town vs Acura's 17, is quiet and comfortable, has a kick a** stereo and will seat 7 in a pinch. Great road car, surf wagon and economical daily transport. in a nutshell, I figure that if I'm going to have an SUV, might as well be the greenest of the lot with great safety and impeccable reliability. And to those who believe that Toyota really had a braking problem, sell me your car for pennies on the dollar! [; p
