Wonderfully solid, nice sounding, full auto turntable from Pioneer.
1 of 1 found this helpful Good turntables today cost a fair amount of money, money I can't afford. To get something as solid in today's money, you're looking at a lot. I paid £100, which for a near 40 year old TT with no guarantee is about as high as I could go but it's definitely worth the money. In great condition, it sounds great and looks so much better than the plastic toy I was using (which cost about the same new).
There's plenty to like about this table, the fact their is so much written about them online in forums means advice on keeping them running is widespread. I'm hoping for plenty of years of use from it. They certainly don't make things half as well as they used to.
If you see one in good condition, buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Good printer from HP
Had mine a few years and it's been a good printer. Used it almost exclusively with compatible inks from Amazon and never had any errors other than the occasional paper jam. Reliable printer from HP.

Best speakers I've ever owned. I'm no audiophile mind.
2 of 2 found this helpful Writing this as I'm pretty upset at one star reviews from people who have obviously not read up on what they are getting before they buy.
These speakers need 3 x 3.5 jack inputs (rear, centre/SW and front) from your 5.1 capable sound card. If you just plug in front speaker cable from your stereo sound card (laptops etc) you will only get 2 channel sound and only front speakers will work. This is not a fault, these speakers do not upmix in a similar way to Pro Logic, they don't have that technology.
You need the updated x-540 or current Z506 which have matrix mode, or to use all 3 wires on a 5.1 sound card and enable speaker fill or some other upmixing technology on the sound card speaker settings if it has it.
That said I will now review these awesome speakers. I still use these and they're old but still as awesome as the day they were bought. They sound amazing with movies, games or music. I can't praise them enough.
I am no audiophile but £70 spent 8 years ago has been an amazing investment and I do love my music so these are used on a daily basis. I have just bought a set of z506 speakers for the bedroom but a lack of wall mounts on the updated model means the x-530s will remain my main lounge surround speakers until the day they give out. I love them that much. This model is getting old now, been discontinued yet I still see no reason why a good set that have been looked after can't last many years still. That's high praise indeed.
