Great Images from the Master of Stop Motion

I've been a fan of Ray Harryhausen since I was a young kid. His work is what inspired me to get into the EFX business. I also love film posters and have been collecting them since the 70's, including many of Ray's films. I love the foreign artwork and this film compiles those as well as American issued promotional material. Beautifully put together with excellent printing of the artwork. It is mainly a picture book. I would have liked a little more written content, but there are other books for that.

Cool Zone Packaging with Fun Zone Extras

PACKAGING: First off, It is every episode from the series, including "The Encounter", which is seldom aired. There are 26 DVD's, with 13 bound plastic holding platters per side. One side folds over onto the other to create basically a box, which then fits into the actual box. A little cumbersome, but the discs are protected nicely and they are all labeled by season and disc so, with the episode synopsis booklet, it is easy to locate the episode you want to watch. EXTRAS: Attached to the box itself are 4 cool (5 1/2" X 5 1/2") 3-D reticulated B&W images from 4 of the best episodes. I've only seen these in this package. There is also a 2 bonus discs with very cool extras, which include: American Masters on Serling; The Mike Wallace interview; 3 part conversations with Serling; A special called Timeless as Infinity: The Twilight Zone Legacy; The original show that got it all startred, The Time Element, plus many other fun extras like Saturday Night Live, etc. Also a miniature TZ comic book which is fun. Also included in this package is the complete 80's Twilight Zone series. Although nothing could ever match the original, and this and other iterations of TZ prove this, there are some well done episodes in this series and worth watching. Rod Serling was the Twilight Zone. Without him it just isn't that show, but it allowed for anthology television and that was a good thing. I am very happy with this set and plan to enjoy entering the creepy, thought provoking, imaginative, and beautifully produced storytelling that could only be presented by my man Rod as he ushers me once more into the Twilight Zone.

I Can't Believe It's a Puppet!

I am very happy with this "puppet", which it is hard to call it that, as it is so lifelike when puppeted. Very well made. Great looking hair. Very realistic. I have purchased other puppets of theirs and I've always been super pleased with the quality and realism they bring to their work. Highly recommended! Buy with confidence.
