Bare Bones
1 of 1 found this helpful If you need a bare bones unit that is easy to program and setup, this is the one for you. It has a capped hole for a forward reverse switch, but it's just a simple matter of installing a DPST bat switch and connecting it into the labeled socket on the PC board.
They need to use a larger box for shipping, and pad the entire unit. Mine was shipped in a box that was the same size as the unit. The only padding was on the control face. My unit was dropped or something and received a good size nick on the housing. This would've not have happened if they were to have packed it in a larger box and padded the whole unit. What would this cost? 2 more dollars?

Spherical Aberration is not Good To Have in a Comparitor
3 of 3 found this helpful 1. There's noticeable spherical aberration, because they use a single spherical objective lens for magnification.
2. The small containers for the reticles are not marked, making reticle selection a memory exercise mark them yourself)
3. This item is overpriced for the medium quality given.

Hounded for a Dowel Pin Reiew
3 of 4 found this helpful Okay, yep, it is a male dowel pin. It appears to be man-made. Though, I really have a preference for the organically grown variety. Sorry, it's a camera shy dowel pin or I would post about a dozen photos of it, because I'm really proud of my new dowel pin. I can talk to it and take it out to dinner. I like to watch it sleep too. It gives me great peace of mind to know I have a dowel pin in the house.
