Good Keyboard, Plenty Of Space.
Devices and software for "non-distracting" writing are currently all the rage. If you are not ready to pony-up $500 for the latest WiFi enabled writer, these are just the ticket. Fonts sizes from small to blind-as-a-bat huge can be displayed. Plug a common USB cord into your PC, open your word processor and hit "send" on this unit and it re-types your writing like an invisible man was at the keyboard.
This unit is not for fully-formatted text, but there are arrow keys to navigate and change text (unlike the current $500 offering). There is also a spell checker. Three AAs keep you going for a long time.
The unit has a much better keyboard feel than earlier Alphasmarts. There are plenty out there, so shop for prices.

Great Garage Sale Find
1 of 1 found this helpful I grab these cameras for under $10 whenver I find one. The fixed focus non-zoom lens is uite good for grab shots. A bit battery-hungry and you cannot use a card bigger than 2GB, or many even one. Really good for shooting without fuss and a ton of gear.
