Basic tuner that works just fine on an assortment of intruments.
This is a simple electronic tuner that clips on and reliably lets you know the pitch of your strings. With the 'Chromatic' option you can manage non-standard tunings easily and evaluate (maybe correct) the intonation of your instrument up the neck - methods are shown on YouTube if you need to do this.
Not _quite_ as precise as some more expensive ones, but more than adequate in normal use. Recommended!

Warm sound, good strings
Good value strings that work fine for us - not as bright as the Aquila NylGut, but not as expensive! These are more mellow and last just as well.

Perfect for bigger hands!
This is not an expensive instrument. At under 30 quid, it represents really good value, and solves a problem I have had since the 1950s, when my new stepfather gave me his (then nearly-new) soprano banjo ukulele. I was about ten, and had never had anything that would play a tune! So I got stuck in, and could soon strum away, two-chord songs at first, but it was progress!
But I was not allowed to take it to boarding school, and it seemed to be getting harder, until by the age of 13 it was really hard to play. End of my ukulele enthusiasm.
Nearly 60 years later, I am introduced to the Baritone Uke! So easy to play, with my big fingers! But most people do not start on a Baritone. They cost a lot more, for a start. Great if you can afford it.
Now we can work out what went wrong, in the '40s and '50s - my step-dad had tried (and failed) to play it successfully, so he gave it to me. And it worked for my little hands!
....Until I grew bigger. By the age of 14 I was not just the biggest boy in the school, I was bigger than the headmaster...
There was nobody around to explain the problem, and there was no Mahalo Wide Neck Soprano Uke for a parent to buy. Until now!
Bigger-fingered people like me really benefit from a neck that is big enough to fit our fingers into the right places - and this one is super!
It is not a hand-made instrument, but it plays well, and it fits me fine!
Recommended that you try one if you have bigger hands.
