Genuine part - can't go wrong

Fits perfectly. It is the price which kills me - how can piece of plastic with three led-s cost over £80 (in Nissan well over £100) z baffling.

Very smart looking gate lock

This product meets high expectations in my opinion. It is a contemporary looking thing when assembled, so if you are after more traditional solutions, this lock wouldn’t be exactly for you. Despite it has been made out of plastic, it is a high quality one. Seems quite robust and weather resistant, but this is still to be discovered. I wouldn’t say, though, it could survive a decent kick in the gate, as the supplied screws are fairly short. The assembly is simple and if you follow the manual you should not have any issues. The only thing is that if one or more parts of the lock needs to sit in recess then the manual is fairly vague. Anyway, when there is enough clearance between the post and the gate then a careful assembly shouldn’t take longer than 30-45 min to a complete amateur. The only thing I didn’t like about it, was the price. Not the one I paid for it but rather the price all the sellers are trying selling it for. There are generally two versions of the lock: one providing the unlatching only from the inside and the other from both sides of the gate, the former being twice as expensive as the first one. The difference in parts between them is negligible. Obviously, there are parts added for the outside button, but when you look at all the parts in your hand, you wonder how come this two extra parts make this product 100% more expensive. Fortunately, I was able to find it in very decent price anyway, so search around.

Very robust! Will hold very heavy bicycle.

This stand is of much better quality than anything else I tried and I tried at least three of the eBay's most popular kickstands and the (only) one from Halfords. They all landed in the bin within weeks of purchase, either broken or unsuitable. This one has been with me for three weeks now an I love it. It is exceptionally well built, quite easy to assemble, in a typical way (so will fit various bikes). My bike is tall and all the other kickstands were always making it unstable. This one feels like a motorbike stand. Highly recommended. :)
