Unexpected joy

This flash was so powerful out of the box. The bulb head was amazing except in 20F temperatures. That is the only time it would miss fire but other than that this flash is a tank. The screen is very fragile and needs a good case. Mine dropped after 2 months and everything broke like the power button and screen. The modelling light worked but that was it. SquareTrade saved my butt. Would buy this again in a heartbeat, it's so versatile, just be careful never to drop it. I recommend getting an extension head and clipping the flash to the bottom of the stand.

Oh, Oh it's magic!

On a Saturday flash fell from a stand and broke on the concrete. My claim was approved the same day and I sent the flash in on Monday through FedEx. A week later I had a check in the mail since it couldn't be repaired for the full amount of the flash. This warranty is amazing!

I didn't know what I was missing out on.

Modifiers used to cost well over $120. This one is easier to open and use than any other I've used. Having long arms is a plus. A tip from me would be to keep the metal bar that you can screw in attached to the flash for easier opening. The beauty plate goes on after the flash is opened and needs to be taken off before closing it. With the double diffusion, I rarely use the plate though. You won't regret this size. Buy this thing!
