Metal is more durable
When it comes to pulling weight/multiple cars, metal knuckle couplers are more durable and reliable than the plastic. Plus they have a better chance of surviving a fall off the layout.

Over all nice product
Nice quality product except the handrails are plastic. 5 stars if they were metal.
