7th gen in almost perfect condition.
for the price I paid for this generation, I didn't expect the high quality received. so far, so good. it's mounted at work with a power cable plugged in so I can't confirm long battery life yet, but the rest of it is in almost perfect condition.

Skid Lid; almost perfect
It does what it is meant to do; provide the best protection for it's minimal coverage. It is masculine, it has a great design, it isn't too heavy, the inside styrofoam core actually fits my fat head! But maybe it does need some slits for ventilation. After about 100 miles of riding, it gets hot and causes my head to swell enough to get a small headache. Time to stop and cool down, then I'm good for another 100! Skid lids rock!

only needs a power switch
I had a much larger 'brick' in the past and it had no much features or functionality than the small dc tank. It does exactly what you expect it to do. I haven't noticed any hum/feedback from the pedals and I have four plugged in so far; metal boss metal zone & flanger, and behringer reverb machine & tuner.
The only thing I wish it had was an on/off switch.
