How much you like this will probably depend on your age
1 of 1 found this helpful If you are older like me, you will probably like this because the interface is straightforward without the usual nonsense of having to go through page upon page of menus and options just to get to the amp sims and effects you want. This is not some silly toy that tries to do everything. It is big, solid and heavy - something I like. This thing is textbook old school and is just one small step up from a stompbox in terms of difficulty of use.
If you are younger, you would probably hate it because it doesn't have a USB connection - it wasn't designed for any computer interface other than MIDI. It doesn't have a looper. It is big and heavy - so it won't fit on a desktop (the footswitches are tough and actually designed to be stomped on by a foot, so it doesn't switch well with your hand). It is not really portable or suitable for a backpack. And forget using this Model-T with an iPad. Haha.

Perfect electric guitar for any style
This is the perfect guitar as far as I am concerned. Love it. None of the usual foibles found in the other big name guitars. And the EverTune bridge is the real deal. If set up correctly, you can't knock it out of tune.

Only Boss could build a combination floor pedal like this
The most amazing thing about the GT-100 pedal system is that it costs (new) less than half what many of the others do, but it sounds as good or better, and in most cases, is more tweakable for the guitarist who wants to dig into every possible equalization, attack, amp sim, cabinet, and effect combination. I lost count after a while, but there are hundreds of combinations of any signal chain, and their are hundreds of combinations of the settings of each component in any one signal chain. This has the sophistication of a rack system in a floor pedal.
