The best basic tool
The knife is well finished, comfortable on handling and sturdy.
The thickness of the blade is good enough to combine durability, strength and weight. The elliptical rounded handle allows to grab the knife in different ways comfortably. The metal flat end can be used to hit some surfaces like ice or wood. The case has doble safety system with locking clip in the case plus the regular strap with a metal snap. The rigid case can be attached to different places through the holes on the case, excelente for tactical purposes. To improve, I will change the snap button in the locking strap for another mechanical locking system. In conclusion, KA Bar knife is an excellent product, one of the few thing that we still made in our loving USA.
