An excellent choice as a secondary computer.
8 of 9 found this helpful I've been using my Chromebook now for a couple of months. I really like it as my secondary computer. I am a business analyst and professional life coach and I travel quite a bit. I wanted a very light computer for the road, and this has fit the bill. I can write, update my website, respond to email, update social networks, etc. Having a keyboard was an important consideration; I type 70+ words per minute and a tablet's onscreen keyboard would not be sufficient. The Chromebook is plastic, not metal, but that does not seem to affect its ability to travel. The screen is very sharp, the keys have just the right amount of travel and tactile feedback. I thought the lack of a hard drive would present a challenge, but the 100 GB of space on Google Drive is plenty, and the few files stored locally have taken very little space. If you listen to streaming music, use web sites for primary work tasks, and can get along without 'real' Microsoft Office (I use Word and Excel on the desktop, but don't need them on the road), then this computer is worth considering.
