Okay tool, but...
The tool works great on the first punch into the ground, but the soil does not "automatically" fall out of the opening without some prompting. I get that it's supposed to work it way upward within the tube after each punch into the soil, but it doesn't. Therefore, the moire times you punch into the soil, the more compacted the soil becomes within the tube and the harder it is to make the next hole. Basically you end up just jamming a solid rod into the ground. I ended up reaming the soil out with a drill after each use and it worked great that way. No big deal. Great tool!
