Forget this book and get CONVERSATIONS WITH WILDER!
As a Billy Wilder fan, I have many books on his life and work. If you want the most accurate and entertaining read get CONVERSATIONS WITH WILDER by Cameron Crowe. Everything was taped over several months between Crowe and Wilder. Also, the book has a great many photos and a great INDEX to look things up. Crowe, being a great director and writer too, knew what questions to ask.

Terrible movie
This supposed to be a movie with great special effects, but with every wide shot one could plainly see modern buildings next to the beach, Even the plane fights were boring and shot with terrible effects..Find and watch the documentary with vintage film footage.
