Good book but a bit dated.
Book has a lot of Great information but is dated now and could be updated. One main thing is if you want this book to compare information between the Mustang 5.0 and the truck 5.0 this book does not do that well. It would be much better if it would get into more detail on the differences as well as adding the latest generation 5.0 to the book. Maybe they will release Revision 2 sometime in the future that will address my only complaints on this book.....

Well built but out of date....
Well built and easy to use but even with the latest firmware upgrade it will not find my 4 mp cameras with auto detect and have not been able to make it work plugged into the 4 camera ports on the unit. Will only work if plugged in a separate switch and info manually entered with the network port is plugged into the same switch. it will not record above 4 cif or view above 4 cif. There is no setting and even after the update and the alibi sites Data sheet shows it to be compatible with the firmware update. It did not work. Had to order a much newer model to do what I needed........

Nice but not great....
7 of 7 found this helpful Sound is OK but the rated output is no where near the 120 watts peak they claim. It"s maybe 40 to 60 watts peak and 15 to 30 watts RMS. It also runs a bit Hot as well. Be careful with the Speaker connection clips on the back as well, one broke on mine and had to correct it......
