No wonder these never gained popularity

If you need these to repair or expand an existing panel then by all means go ahead. Otherwise it is easy to see why this type of breaker never gained widespread usage.

Good replacement - can link to two cell phones

Replacing a Panasonic system that was knocked out by lightning. Everything was easy to set up. An improvement over my much older system is that numbers entered into the handset are available to all handsets. In the old set you needed to update each handset. The only feature that I miss is that on the old handsets there was a small light which made it easy to locate the set in the dark. This is missing from the new set. There was some criticsism in reviews over range problems, but I have not experienced any
