WOW! This is a great bow!
2 of 2 found this helpful I received it on a Thursday. Set it up that night out to 10 yards in the dark with a flashlight. I got off a little early Friday and after 7 more shots I had it dialed in out to 50. The set up was so easy/quick that I had time to hunt with it that evening. I saw several deer and put a perfect shot on one at 37 yards. The arrow powered through the main bone of the off-side leg and buried several inches into the dirt. Several days later I made a second trip to the woods and I shot a second deer, this time at 20 yards. Another pinpoint shot led to a short blood trail and more venison in my freezer. I have bow hunted for many years with many bows including one other crossbow. But I have never set up and taken a bow of any kind into the woods so quickly with complete confidence. Very expensive but AWESOME bow! I'm glad I bought it.

Great broadheads
This is my first venture into shooting a turkey broadhead designed for shooting them in the neck or head. I have taken several birds over the years, but I have also lost too many birds with regular broadheads. This is a clean miss or dead hit system. So it should be the end of the lost birds blues for me. If I hit them with these things, there will not be any tracking/hunting jobs. I will simply walk out to where I shot them and pick them up right there. It took a little fine tuning to get my bow to shoot them the same as my field points. But now that I have done so, they fly like darts to the same spot. Simply follow the recommendations for arrows and tuning given on Magnus' website. Their advice works. I have been regularly practicing out to 30 yards with dead on accuracy, but expect my shots, if I get them, to be within 20 yards. In fact, I have never shot a turkey beyond 20 yards with a bow. Season opens where I live in about 10 days and I hope to turn one of these loose on opening morning. I am very confident in the accuracy of these things. Now I just need to keep my cool and do my part.

Weather preparedness
There is no doubt that the weather can change drastically from day to day and there is nothing worse than getting outside and discovering that you dressed to light or to heavy for start of a new day. This little device is accurate and gives you a quick glance at the weather before you start getting dressed for the day. So far it has proven accurate and has been a great help to my wife, and me, as we have dress for the day. Its not much help in forecasting what you will hit as the day progresses, but at least you can use it to get a comfortable start.
