Good quality, good features, great performance! Better than I hoped for!
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought one of these in December 2011. I bought it because my other TracFone used the GSM system and did not get service in some of the remote areas I traveled to. So I decided to take a chance and buy one of these to see if it might possibly solve the coverage problem I was having.
I live in northern Minnesota, and like to go ice fishing on Lake of the Woods. My other phone had very poor service in that area, and no service at all on the lake. I was extremely happy to discover that I had excellent coverage. On my first trip to the lake this past winter, I was able to make calls from 8 miles out on the lake. It was also fun to be able to send my wife a picture message of the nice 26 inch walleye I caught that morning! (she was wishin' SHE was fishin' too, but had to work that day...bummer) The phone also seemed to work well in pretty much the same areas my GSM phone did.
Although it did take me a little while to get used to the slider stlyle (all my other cell phones have been flips), I LOVE this phone! It has everything I need, including a camera that my other phone lacked. All I normally do is make calls and send a few text messages, so it's perfect for me. Also, the screen is a pretty decent size - much bigger than my previous phone. I've actually used it a couple of times to check on my eBay bids. It was a little bit slow, but it got the job done!
Bottom line? I would buy it again in a heartbeat!
