Item arrived defective
The item arrived without a power adapter. So I used my adapter from my previous router, same model. Within 10 seconds the thing popped. I opened it up to see how bad and one of the main chips broke the packaging.
You could see the item was opened before and the reset button was not operational at all. The button just wiggling around with no function from the membrane switch.
I should send it back but in fairness, there is no guarantee my power supply adapter is good and I opened the item. I am an electronics engineer though and familiar with electronics and their repair. I also checked my power supply adapter and it is putting out 12Vdc which is the specified voltage for this item.
Two thumbs down.
If you get a good router, this is good for penetrating older homes due to the lower frequency.

3Dconnexion Space Navigator
It works as expected. Only model that works with SolidWorks Composer. My old one is on its last lap so to speak.

Batteries working fine
They are batteries, they seem to work as expected, they were not expensive, and came pretty quick.
