seeking crema

before this year, I was happy with the way DeLonghi pressurized filter baskets give you lots of crema. The flavor was good enough for me. I'm aware that some people go to great lengths to put in unpressurized filter baskets in order to get the flavor and crema they think they need, but not me. My old DeLonghi (not a high-end model, and no longer available) broke down, and I found that DeLonghi's current crop of filter baskets would not make crema for me. They make it just fine in DeLonghi's instruction videos. I can't figure it out. With this model I was able to pop in my old machine's portafilter and basket, and get plenty of crema—and good flavor—just like before. It's also quite quiet, and heats up very fast after turning on.
