So I got this toy being a fan of Spider-man and thought it would be neat to gather together the Villainous super team “The Sinister Six”. My intention with these toys was more to display rather than collect. After breaking Mysterio out of his plastic prison here is what I found good and not so good about it
Good
- Attention to detail, the sculpt of the figure was excellent. His muscles were well defined. The cuffs around his wrists had detail within them.
- Points of articulation. There are quite a bit of joints to pose this figure in a wide variety of ways
Not So Good
- Cape weights down the figures back. To get some really nice poses with the figure you will definitely need a stand
- The helmet and cape are connected together, which wouldn’t be too bad if I wanted to keep it’s arms at it side or no more than a 90 degree position. Ex: If I was to raise it’s arms over it head it would raise the helmet and cape causing the figure to look awkward.
All in all I am happy with the product, it will just take some ingenious positioning to achieve a proper menacing look for this Spider foe. So I would rate this a 6.5/10. This is a great toy to look at but can be hard to work with.
