A sensational fantasy romance movie with brilliant photography.
This is the best film I have ever seen. I was a filmmaker myself and l thought that the casting, the acting and the plot were superb. The two major characters are perfect for their parts. Having the up to 7 dead princes in the background making comments was a stroke of genius. I loved the little touch at the end at the coronation when Victoria was looking at her engagement ring and comparing her fate with the Star - Yvaine -Tristan’s true love, wife and Queen. Una played a brilliant role in conceiving Justin with his father Dunstan when she was the slave of the witch, Ditchwater Sal, and supporting Yvaine when the three witches wanted to eat her heart.
