Two units now both not working...

I bought two of these, one as a backup in case I lost the first one. Both are not working. The first one, now the microphone is failing (but the earbud works) and the other one the earbud does not work but the microphone does. I note that most of the specs for this microphone are incorrect as it is NOT wireless nor bluetooth and I doubt it has DSP technology either.
