Low price… its 30" fixed height would seem to be the reason.

The best prices I've seen for this stand are low. IF you intend to use the stand to support a keyboard then the the reason for the low price becomes immediately apparent. Although the width of the stand is fully adjustable, the height is NOT… it is fixed at 30" which will put your keyboard's keys 2"-3" higher than that of the average acoustic piano, and several inches too short for person of average height to play while standing.
