A very useful tool for home care
I've used this brand and system for over a year until the alarm box failed (could have been repeated drops) and I'm not disappointed But this does work well as noted, just be aware that THE PAD may only last a year or so, but I've had mine going longer. Keep in mind this is a CHAIR pad, but it does work for a bed. The only issue is the center position of the cord is less conducive for bed use.
I would rate 5 stars, but the 9V battery is kind of tough to install/de-install. And the only low battery indicator is when the alarm gives "inconsistent beeps" when set and should be silent (when armed) Decent battery life otherwise and plenty loud with hi-lo settings (and a mute I think) so you don't have to be in same room to hear alarm.
