An important accessory
Fit as designed, quality part, good value. I wish it were offered in stainless with a round ring.

This is a quality part for the price BUT
If you are not capable of fabricating an adapter bushing or finding the correct left hand threaded nut, you are better off buying a trimmer head that comes as a universal ‘kit’ that comes with all necessary hardware. I will say that after I adapted this to fit my weed eater it works well. Much better than the old ‘bump head’

Surprising Quality
I own around 200 pocket knives, as far as sturdiness, fit, finish and feel this is easily in the top 10. I’m going to order one for my son and teach him the art of splicing line.
