Gantry Hoist

I ordered this hoist to enable the fiberglass body of a 69 Corvette to be lifted off of the rolling chassis for restoration purposes. The body weighs approx. 700 - 800 lbs. so this 1000 lb. crane should be adequate. I stored the unassembled crane in my tool shed for the time being. All of the parts appear to be manufactured very well out of heavy steel square tubing. I won't be using it for some time as I have other projects ongoing but I wanted to make sure I purchased one while they were still available. I recently purchased a trolly and chain hoist to complete the unit. I think this crane will be perfect for my application.
