Never go wrong with MSD
MSD 8.5mm superconductor wires have always performed magnificently in my muscle cars!

Nice Quality but Much Wind Noise and no View Finder or Mic/Speaker Ability
It is a good hard drive high def camcorder if you are not concerned about a lot of wind noise as the mic picks up wind noise very loudly. Also, no eye piece so if you are shooting outdoor it is hard to see screen. Make sure you back up your files and keep plenty of space on the hard drive because if you ever fill it up then the hard drive will lock up and Sony says you have lost all your data (not necessarily true; I used a program called Paragon Backup & Recovery that, after ten error messages finally DID retrieve 95% of the files). Also, the more data you have on the drive the longer it takes to access the files, which I suppose makes sense - just an FYI. Also, the native format of AVCHD/.mts files can be system hogs so consider your editing platform limitations. Furthermore, no mic jack, no ear phone jack, no built in light, and no hot shoe.
