Excellent & Dependable Filters
I don't know how but I managed to buy another brand last year. I always have two on hand. I swapped my current Pleatco with this other brand near the end of the season in 2020. Mid-summer the pool wouldn't clear. I deduced it had to be the filter and sure enough the "rubber" ends had cracked open allowing the water to pump right by the filters. This piece of trash wasn't a year old and it was totally useless.
Luckily I had my two year old Pleatco as a stand by. They've never failed. I toss them only after the bands are mostly broken and they've done 3 or 4 years.of service.

Not Bright Enough
Judging by the size and it being LEDs I expected a much brighter lamp. We have a 15x25 oval. This light doesn't light the other end of the pool. That along with the manual color change makes this a huge step down from our original water return lighting. That lamp is no longer made but it was a very bright fiber optic light with electrically changing color filters.
Anyhow, it's in and working well; or as well as it was designed to be.

Cheap Junk
I bought it over a year ago but didn't install it until reworking the skimmer opening this May. The fixtures seal isn't good enough. It leaked until I wrapped it with silicon stretch tape and caulk.
The light is very dim. The color change is so barely noticeable. Worse the LED was dead by August.
Our prior, old school color change return light was 100x better and lasted more than 5 years.
I should have know better than buying cheap junk.
