Knipex 125 2-pack is a handy and precise force multiplier
A top down illustration would show that the Knipex 125 jaw has variable width, scalloping down from max nearest the hinge to a tip width a mite over 1/16 inch, a nice design element for close-in work and yet engages a nut tightly. Flat jaws open to 13/16 inch at max setting of the slider. My hand spans 8.5 inch and has moderate strength. With the 125 I've been able to break rust frozen hex nuts on a boat trailer with just an extra firm grip and no slippage despite a pristine boat bow and knuckle busting trailer parts in real close. A longer tool would have to cant to get at the work or maybe be unable to get close due to some protrusion. At first I thought this 125 fly weight might be too small or weak for such work. Not so. It is often the one I reach for over several larger sized examples such as a 180 previously purchased. In my hands the 125 is tough and precise. No problems have surfaced over several years relative to design, materials, execution or function with these Knipex Plier Wrench tools. I thought the model 125 rather pricey compared with larger ones but did not hesitate at the 125 2-pack price. They are so compact and light I slip one in a pocket on the chance it will make all the difference with little or even larger jobs. Hard to do that with other tools. You have a choice as there is a newer model with fatter handle covers perhaps offering advantages for some hands or electrical work. I prefer the handiness of the ones in this 2-pack.

Skidmore's Leather Cream is Tops.
Can't pass this up. One of those truly useful products. I've renewed look and feel of leather: couches, chairs, jackets, gloves, shoes (none suede!), boots, mittens, wood clock, rosewood knife handle, wood cabinet. Other products tried over many years do not hold a candle to Skidmore's. First picked it up in a leather shop in Jackson Hole after a boot repair. Product worked wonders. I very very seldom polish leather shoes since a few moments with this makes them look great and cleans well and easily too. Have I said enough? Does not leave surfaces sticky in my many applications.
