Very pleased with this VCR

I was mainly concerned with 'flagging' where the VCR heads can't properly line up with the track on the tape or the VCR couldn't correct it. Not a problem here. No remote but that didn't matter.

The right solution

Although without battery and charger, I had a charger from my previous DV cam. This worked like a charm. So far have converted 3 hours of tape to computer. No hiccups.
