5 songs for the price of one lesson!
1 of 1 found this helpful Murphy Method dvds, unlike most lesson videos, do not come with tab. The songs are taught in a structured format. First the song is played at normal speed, then played slowly. Next after tuning the song is broken down into sections and explained precisly as to picking and fingering. Then at the end it is played along with a guitar at slow tempo and then up to speed. The format is usually the same for all songs. By removing the student from the tablature it causes you to listen to the notes and repeat them. Learning is built upon earlier lessons, so if you start with the two basic beginner videos and progress from there you will build a skill set of licks and phrases that you can expand upon as you like. This particular video, Blackberry Blossom, teaches you some melodic phrases that are loads of fun to play. After working through the first two beginner videos, i have simply watched the songs on this one and can go pick up the banjo and play the song accuratly. (Slowly at first, but speed comes later)
The skills you learn enable you to stop trying to play any song exactly like its written down in tab. Even Earl admitted he seldom played a song the same way twice. What you learn from these videos is how to listen to a song and copy the idea without getting stuck. You begin to hear certain licks and can visualize how they are played before they are explained. If you really want to learn the banjo and a live teacher is not for you, then I reccomend any of these videos to you. However because they build upon earlier lessons there is a chance if you start with an intermediate or advanced lesson first that you will find certain parts are skipped as they dont waste time explaining what they have already taught in a previous lesson. The songs on The Blackberry Blossom video are a great addition to any players songbook.

It has its place in my business
I am an average seller. Ship about 800 to 1000 packages a year.
My tape of choice is Duck HP260. 3.1mil thick it rarely wrinkles, pulls easy with normal noise. Noise is not a factor for me as I only pack 2 to 6 boxes a day. If I did 8 hrs or packing I might want silent tape. If I package heavy items I use reinforced Kraft tape and top it with the Duck.
#1 rule of packing..."If product can move at all inside the box its not packed correctly".
If it moves in the box its going to bust out...No tape will save you from this.
So this ebap BOPP has its uses. It pulls off the roll a little harder than most, but not to the point of messing up the tape. It does have an odor, but not terrible. Just similar to your kids plastic three ring pool when it was new.
For topping the Kraft tape on heavy boxes it is great. Super strong and a little stretch to it.
I ship lots of stuff in USPS Padded flat rate envelopes. Since weight is not a factor I box or cover with cardboard the product to use up the space in the envelope. I have never lost a product doing this extra packaging. This tape is perfect for closing boxes to go into the envelope...A 7x4x4 box fits perfectly in a padded flat rate envelope.
I tested the tape on a new box. Once applied with a light swipe on the hands I pulled it off the box. It pulled off the paper layer from the cardboard. Cant ask for more than that. Most tapes will fail to stay stuck if left for long periods. If you package boxes ahead of time and they sit waiting to be sold you should be using water activated Kraft Tape.
The trick to using Kraft tape it to wet it with a spray bottle of water. If you wipe it with a sponge or rag to activate the glue you will remove half the adhesive. Just spray it lightly (an old windex bottle it perfect) and seal the box. It will last and last.
So generally speaking this is my method...
On boxes 2 lb or less ebay BOPP only.
Over 2 lbs I use Kraft tape or Duck HP260.
Over 5 lbs Kraft tape with Ebay BOPP on top.
Over 10 lbs Kraft tape with Duck HP260
Anything in a USPS Padded flat rate envelope is packed with ebay BOPP tape.
Just my 3 cents worth...

Works very well
0 of 1 found this helpful I Purchased a new laptop that didn't have such a great WiFi ability. So this range extender boosted the signal enough to get me back up to 5 bars. Some people have said it makes no difference. I thought that at first too...But if you don't see a difference then its not connected correctly. Reset the unit (little hole next to the LAN connection) and wait for it to show up on your laptop or device...then connect with a browser. The WPS didn't work.
Once I reset it and did it that way I have coverage all over my house and yard. Twice the distance I had before. No need to change anything as your SSID and passwords all stay the same.
Good little unit. If it broke I would buy another right now.
