Graphics are good, but horn sounds & headlights need improvements.
1 of 1 found this helpful This product has mixed feelings. From a train enthusiasts perspective, I enjoy the rich scenery and engine graphics. Movement of trains seem realistic, and there are many scenarios to choose from. One may run trains in "free run" mode with complete discretion where engine roams. With this version, only the West coast is available in U.S. The train horn is a bit disappointing, when compared to my model train sounds a tiny board, this software is nearly the same or even worse. Basically the repeating sound loop is too short, so horn is choppy instead of a nice steady tone, a bit annoying. It should be nearly perfect for such a sophisticated software. Another thing I dislike is the fact you have to register online as a user in some "steam" group! WHO CARES, this is ridiculous, one should be able to run software WITHOUT an internet connection, or "registering". I only want to run trains as a true simulator, NOT some silly network gaming competition.
Other than the 2 negatives, I admit this simulator is fun and addictive. The GE ES44AC (similar to Dash9) engine is my favorite with an decent engine rumble. You need a really good sound system, I use a Bose 2 spkr with sub-woofer made for PCs.
Night mode is bit disappointing, because the engines headlite is puny, with absolutely NO light thrown to shine the way. Come on RAILWORKS, get with IT! I give you credit the motions are good while train moves, taking in consideration all scenery moving a variable speeds. Also the people figures are very good whoever designed the people did a great job.

Atkins Diet
This is a proven diet & worked for me. Wanted to let other relatives read this book, as it give a logical explanation to why this diet works. People in general eat too many processed foods, where most if not all the contents are carbs. We obviously need carbs to survive, but not in an excessive amount. This book is worthy to read, as it proves that whole foods are the way eat! One the body is deprived of normal daily carbs, this is only one way to get the needed carbs, this to use it's own reserve (fat). With this diet one can eat all the protein one desires, and stay mostly full, satisfied. The carb reduction is enough to trigger ketosis, (the biological process of retrieving/using stored carbs) and one is NOT totally eliminating carbs from their diet. Depending on how much is restricted will net how much per week ones loss is. Ketosis is totally healthy & natural part of our biology that is rarely used, and that is why most of us are overweight. There are also proper snacks one can have when extra fuel is needed. A good book!

Mighty and Small.
Has good suction, yet is small enough to maneuver around tight spots, like the wheels. Power cord is 10' long, and hose is pretty long with tube extensions. Best for hard floors since it has wheels.
