Fun to build, even more fun to play with
My 5yo says this is his favorite Lego set ever, and I agree. It has so many wonderful moving parts, including a drill that actually knocks rocks and gold off the wall of the mine, a conveyer belt that drops rocks and gold into the flatbed truck, and a little train that moves on the tracks. My son build it all himself with very little help. I think the Lego City sets from this era are truly the best, so interactive for hours of play - not just something to build that sits on a shelf.
