Surprisingly simple to use
Easy to use and makes ice cream easily and without fuss. However, the number of recipes within the instructions are rather limited and do not use the capacity of the bowl. Having said that, by trial and error a good quality and well flavoured ice cream up to the bowl capacity is possible. Eating the ice cream just after making is preferred as, leaving the product in the freezer results in a rock hard block that is difficult to serve. Making 'Rum and Raisin' ice cream was most successful as the rum made the product more as a 'soft scoop' and rather easier to put into a cornet even after spending some hours in the freezer. All in all, a positive experience that will get better with practice.

Robust and practical
I trier two previous products but they were flimsy in design and construction. This switch is solid with a positive action.
