Bog standard pump
Excellent value for money worth a punt as couldn't see any obvious advantages of similar pumps offered for 10 pounds more, hopefully long term reliability will prove ok. Not the most powerful pump in the world but it does the job I needed it for. Build quality seems ok so if I get 5 years out of it I will be happy Only time will tell.

It works
1 of 1 found this helpful I needed to replace a defective drive which was rarely used so didn't want to spend a lot. At sub £16 and given the brand I chose this drive for the job. Plugged in and worked straight away but oh so noisy! I am glad I don't need to listen to it very often. If you run one a lot you may find it a major distraction. I guess you get what you pay for (if your lucky) no guarantee of course paying more will buy you quiet.

Good value for the money
Reasonably accurate and easy to fit. Check the thread dia. on the tank is 1.5" female else you will need an adapter. Any smaller than 1.5" and the float wont pass into the tank.
Identical replacement for my existing tank gauge which had lasted about 10 years, although for the last 2/3 years the gauge 'window' has been held on with tape having tried to remove it for cleaning as it had become opaque. The other point to note is that which direction the gauge faces is the luck of the draw depending on the mating thread. No means of rotating the head once tightened down. All that said; Does the job, relatively cheap and should last a few years
