Retro lantern

Metal skin, looks nice and durable, single knob control, the light works like a gas or fuel lantern, on low is a soft orange glow to a bright white light on full. It looks like a miniature version of one of my fuel lanterns, very retro No it's not light, it feels like a nice solid well made product Simple charging with the magnetic puck (not supplied), it does come with USB charge cable

Low grade movement

This is not what is shown in the photos, this is a poor quality 2824 clone, 21,600 bph instead of 28,800bph, 16 balls just packed in the rotor bearing instead of 5 balls in a cage like you would find on a 2824-2 and the better clones The fine adjust regulator on the balance cock is just a flat piece of metal that doesn't actually do anything compared to the machined component it should have So as far as I can see this isn't a PT5000 movement, which would cost at least 2-3 times the cost of this one, This movement is made by some unknown maker, very low grade, don't buy!

Upgrade

Bought this and the matching rear set to upgrade the brakes on my old 12yo mongoose, this to me a big improvement on the mechanical discs, still using the original 160mm rotors, these are a lot stronger and very smooth.
