Much better than replacing the whole vacuum!
I thought I might have to invest in an entire new pool vacuum when mine stopped moving. But once I took it apart, which wasn't hard using a Philips screwdriver, it was obvious to me that at least one of the bearing disks was bad and so was one of the wheels on the A-frame. I ordered this kit and it included all the parts I needed plus some extras in case I ever need them in the future. I probably spent about 30 minutes at the kitchen table putting it back together with the new parts. I crossed my fingers and as soon as I hooked up the vacuum, there it went! It's been cruising around the pool very well since then, although it does seem to have an affinity for the deep end and I might have to manually vacuum the shadow end. I don't think that's the kit's fault.
