Works like they said it would
This digital capacitor does an awesome job. No more fluttering lights or drop in signal strength. Strong and clean sound, even when cranking up the volume and pounding the sub. A must for today's cars with small batteries and undersized alternators if you're going to run an amplifier with decent output.
Installs easy but is a pretty big piece. Plan on using a decent sized piece of real estate but once installed, it's well worth the space taken.

Great Amp
2 of 2 found this helpful This amp is a great buy for the price. Running 2 Kenwood 75 watt 6.5s up front with 2 Kenwood 80 watt 6.5s out back and a RockordFosgate 250 Watt 10 on the sub channel (RMS values). Once tuned in and balanced out, this amp blew me out of the cab in my '08 Colorado! Maybe this amp isn't for going pro or competing to blow the back windows out of your jalopy, but it does a whale of a job in my setup. I mounted mine under the rear bench and after pushing it hard for a couple hours found the top surface to barely be warm to the touch. Amp tunes in pretty easily and was a snap to install other than the speaker output connections were a lil bit of a pain to work with due to that tiny little allen wrench. All in all a very powerful, tuneable unit that is really two amps in one tidy package. Plus, you get the advantage of needing only ONE amp kit to power it up.

Quality piece at a great price.
Very nice, compact power block that works very well in conjunction with an amplifier and capacitor setup. Only drawback that I see is the set screws. They are a philips head and I would much rather see allen head set screws, but they work fine. Just be cautious as to the overall diameter of the screwdriver and be sure it fits down into the set screw threaded hole or you can damage the threads and the set screws. A small, number one philips should work just fine and prevent damage to the piece.
