Good for the price.
I bought the Nikon Coolpix L11 mainly to get easy video with sound capability and plenty of megapixels. My old 1.3 megapixel Fugifilm camera didn't have video. Picture quality is great, and for the most part camera is easy to figure out and use. The Nikon owners manual is much better than the instruction sheet you get with a very similar Kodak 6 MP camera. I tried the Kodak camera and there was no way to listen to sound of videos when played back on the camera. That camera was returned. There is a fair amount of delay between taking still pictures with the Nikon. You do end up recording a bit of mechanical noise when the sound level of your video goes very low. Battery life is excellent. There are rechargeable AA batteries you can buy extra for this camera. There also is a Nikon AC adapter available for purchase, it is just hard to find and expensive. This is a lower end digital camera mainly for beginners. The 6 megapixels will give you some great pictures. The camera is designed to do a lot for you, which may be good or bad.
