Christ Church Frederica Cookbook, St. Simons Island, GA
The cover is striking and pleasant to view. It is a bright watercolor of the front of that old church in it's moss draped Live Oak setting. Throughout are beautiful color photos of the many stained glass windows along with appropriate detailed explanations of what you are viewing as well as the names of the particular windows.
As a cookbook it has many tempting recipes. Since I got this book a few days ago I have tried successfully only one entry: Deviled Crab Island Style. Easy to follow and very tasty. The next one I might try would be something from the many chicken recipes. I recognized some other contributions by common titles as basic staples of food I grew up with 5 miles to the east across the Marshes of Glynn on the mainland. Many of the names of the "cooks" I recognized from having lived in that area for 17 years. One was, for example, from the owner of Benny's Red Barn. I wished he had included a crab side dish from that well known restaurant. There was also no Southern Fried Chicken. I'm still looking for the secret golden fried chicken specialty of a now gone family restaurant from that county and hoped someone from there had found it out and shared it.
Each of the recipes have temperatures and times as well as number of servings listed so there is nothing vague. I recommend this book for getting the flavor of Saint Simons Island cooking. It is a modern cookbook with a kick.

Big and bold
Bold because it has, as my choice, a broad nib. Big because it is slightly longer than the 150.

Covered8 quart stainless steel All Clad Induction Safe Cooktop Readt Pot.
#1 Both handles are imprinted with the word or trademark Emeril and the circled R meaning it is registered. Nowhere on that pot or lid does it say All Clad. #2 There is nowhere a point of origin, meaning I have no idea where it was manufactured. Therefore it could be made of any alloy good or bad.
