    French Quarter
In a book, I appreciate a good plot, good character development with hot passionate scenes. This is sex with probably a max of 1 page defining the dilemma & a paragraph or 2 at the end of the book with the resolution. IMO, not worth the time it took to read it & I did read it hoping it'd improve. Wishful thinking didn't make it so. Disappointing.

    A Witch's Beauty by Joey W. Hill (2009)
Joey Hill just keeps getting better & better! Although the cover art on this & her Mermaid book are off-putting IMO. BTW, it's better to read the Mermaid first then this. Good story line, good character development, lots of action, good sex scenes that don't predominate -- they're an intregal part of the story. I applaud her imagination. GREAT read.

    The Hunter's Prey
Read her "Captive Dreams" then followed with her "Devil" series: Irish, River and recently Souther, which are all GREAT! This one seems a mishmash, nothing to draw the reader in, confusion trying to figure out what the book was about. Continued reading thinking there'd be some redeeming qualities given her other books. Nope:(
